“All About Me” is the inquiry theme unit for DY-S2 during the first term. We inquired and thought about the relationship between people around us, as well as about how many people around us are helping us in different ways in our everyday lives.Here are a few of our exploration moments in the theme unit "All About Me"!

For our topic on Feelings, the students drew pictures, played charades by acting out emotions vocabulary, made paper plate face crafts, and sang songs about happiness!
在这个小主题里,孩子们画出各种表情,通过表情演绎不同的感受,制作表情小手工,还学唱了一首关于快乐会传递的歌曲——《If you are happy 》。

My Family
Knowing family is the premise of knowing the world. Children in small school age have the desire to contact and understand people, things and things in the familiar living environment around them, and family is one of the familiar environments for children. "Home" is so warm and sweet for every child, especially the infinite love among family members makes children feel safe and happy.
"Home" not only provides a place for children to inhabit, but also links up the emotional ties between children and their families. It also contains many experiences of children. It is suitable to support and develop the theme of "I love my family" based on children's existing life experiences.

认识家人是认识世界的前提,小班年龄段的幼儿已经有愿望接触和了解周围比较熟悉的生活环境中的人、事、物,而家庭正是幼儿熟悉的环境之一。“家”对每个孩子来说都是那么温暖、那么甜蜜,尤其是家庭中成员之间的无限的爱更是让孩子感到安全、快乐。
“家”不仅提供了幼儿栖息的场所,联结起幼儿和家人之间的情感纽带,也蕴藏着幼儿的众多经历,很适宜立足于幼儿已有的生活经验,来支持和展开“My Family”的主题。

ROLE PLAY
This game is our favourite. We have arranged the classroom into different role play community helper areas. In the game, we play and communicate. "I am a little doctor, I will treat the patient", "I am a small police officer, I will catch the bad guys." "I am a firefighter, I will put out the fire"...
游戏是我们小班宝贝的最爱,我们把教室布置成不同的职业体验游戏区域,在游戏中,我们边玩边交流。扮演游戏:“我当小医生,我会给病人看病”,“我是小警察,我会抓坏人。”“我扮消防员,我会灭火”……
In the inquiry and exploration process.We provide children different amounts of materials, teacher guidance, child construction and finally each group presents a unique work. In the process, children learn to listen, express and understand in communication and language. Develop good relationships with your peers and get to know your body parts better during personal, social and emotional development. The concepts of numbers, shapes, space and measurement are recognized in the field of mathematics. Building an object out of different materials is a reflection of the child imagination.
在这一阶段的探索课程中。我们提供给孩子不同种类、不同材质、不同数量的材料,老师引导,孩子建构,最后每一组呈现出的作品都是独一无二的。在这个过程中孩子们在交流和语言能力上学会了倾听、表达、以及理解。在个人、社会和情感发展中与同伴建立了良好的关系更了解自己的身体部位。在数学领域中认识了数字、形状、空间和测量概念。用不同材料建构一个物品,也更体现了孩子的想象力。
